The SES Joker Days are training days on which the course content is defined by the trainer. SES has deliberately refrained from prescribing a programme for the Joker Days. The SES trainer has a free hand to announce a course via the SES platform, the contents of which are oriented entirely towards his creativity. That's what Joker Days are about! The trainer can offer specific course contents such as team training, special discipline combinations, tracking or individual competition training. Log in under content and find out what the trainer has in store for you in this course.
Requirement
If you are unsure as to whether this course is something for you or not, simply check with the trainer. He will explain what prerequisites you need to fulfil for this course. In principle however, you can also read up on this under Special. The trainer will have set out the programme for this course there.

Tunnel Flying
TF 1
Beschreibung
The first step in the tunnel is the training of basic skills such as turning, pushing, shifting bodyweight, as well as a stable flying position. These are the basic elements with which to be able to move around dynamically in the sky. At the same time, the trainer will introduce various flying positions in which you fly sitting, lying on your back, and on your belly. This course is the basis for Tunnel Flying 2 FS and Tunnel Flying 2 AE.
In this first proficiency level, you will get to know and train these basic skills. The coach will allocate you to sessions and keep you on your toes in the tunnel. You are of course welcome to come with a complete team to share the first steps in the sport.
Requirement
This camp is open to parachutists from level TS (Test Securite). You may also register for this course as an individual parachutist.
Inhalt
The theoretical block provides an insight into the organisation around and in the tunnel, safety aspects, recovery, the flying positions as well as basic skills and elements.
The video debriefing at the end of the flown blocks is intended to enable you to visualise your body position, thereby facilitating and speeding up learning. Briefing for the subsequent blocks takes place on the basis of an evaluation of the first blocks and discussions with you.
Individual programme adaptation
If you are already able to implement the required content at an early stage in the course, we will continue to work with you individually on the next level. If you are not yet able to fly everything prescribed in the course and need to put in more practice time, we will adapt the programme to your ability.
Outline contents: Theory block tunnel, Safety instructions – getting in and out
Basic skills: Belly position, Pushing, Shifting body weight (floating-reducing), Rotations
TF FS 2
Beschreibung
In Tunnel Flying 2 FS you will learn to move quickly and precisely with other parachutists. During the course, grip techniques, communication types and random-like drills will be examined in more detail. To enable you to get the maximum possible benefit, the trainer will put together jumps with random figures in line with your proficiency level. Here, too, you will be supervised in the tunnel on a 1:1 basis or in small groups. In Tunnel Flying 2 FS you will lay the foundation with which to be able to jump safely from the plane with other like-minded people and also move safely and precisely in formations.
Requirement
Individual parachutists, groups and teams of all levels of experience may register for this course. You should be familiar with and able to apply the content of TF 1 in order to reap the full benefit of this offering.
Inhalt
The content of this proficiency level encompasses a theory block on grip techniques, communication principles and random- (basic) as well as block work (basic). Practical implementation in the tunnel. Video-debriefing of the session flown. The entire course is highly individualised and the contents combined and trained with changing flight partners.

This course is the right introduction to learning about formation skydive competition and getting started with a team.
Requirement
You should be familiar with and able to apply the content of TF FS 1 in order to reap the full benefit of this offering. You may also register for this course as an individual parachutist.
Inhalt
Proficiency level 3 is oriented towards competitive formation skydiving.
Due to more dynamic movement as an individual jumper as well as in a group, movement competence, planning and organisation in the tunnel, communication as well as flying discipline will play a central role.
Practice:
Block technique, communication, references, individual dynamic positions, briefing techniques
TF VFS 1
Beschreibung
Tunnel Flying VFS 1 focuses on the transitions (head-up - head-down) and precise placements in the centre. This will be practised individually or in small teams. Your body positions and spatial placement will be constantly checked and monitored by the trainer. In VFS, precision is vital and solid transitions and positions are the be-all and end-all of VFS. Grip techniques, communication and references will of course also be regularly examined and incorporated in the briefings and jumps.
Requirement
In order to get started in the VFS discipline, a soundly-based knowledge of freeflying is necessary. You must be proficient in head-up and head-down positions. You can acquire this in an Artistic Events 1 or 2 course. Individual parachutists, groups and teams of all levels of experience may register for this course.
Inhalt

Anyone wanting to freefly in the tunnel will encounter back flying sooner or later. There are two main reasons for this:
The vertical flying positions in freefly result in a faster fall rate and thus in turn to a higher wind speed needed to fly in the tunnel. Because the back flying position is extremely stable, it is ideal as a "recue position" if you lose control during head-up or head-down exercises.
Similar to head-down flying, the visual perspective in back flying is reversed. This situation contributes to an improvement in flying sensation as well as to faster learning of head-down flying.
Requirement
A valid licence is required for this proficiency level. Individual parachutists, groups and teams of all levels of experience may register for this course.
You should be familiar with and able to apply the content of TF 1 in order to reap the full benefit of this offering.
Inhalt
TF AE 3
Beschreibung
Head-up, head-down, carving out & inface, layouts... the possibilities are unlimited with advanced freeflying. In this course you will receive highly individualised coaching in line with your specific wishes and needs. The main objectives of this proficiency level lie in the basic position of head-up flying, as well as various superpositional moves such as back layout or head-down outface carving. Great importance is also attached to one of the main problems of tunnel flying for parachutists: implementing the lessons learned in free fall.
Requirement
This course is open to all parachutists with a valid licence. You should be familiar with and able to apply the content of TF 2 in order to reap the full benefit of this offering. You may also register for this course as an individual parachutist.

Artistic Event Freefly
AE 1
Beschreibung
Over the last 10 years, freeflying has become established as an interesting and extremely multifaceted parachuting discipline. Interesting, because as a parachutist you are confronted with many new situations, but also because it also offers many new things in terms of attitude, perception and orientation. The faster fall rate, higher speeds during the manoeuvres, the separation height and separation discipline are just a few of the characteristic differences to formation jumping. In the Artistic Events courses, our primary aim is to assist you with your individual development. In addition, we would like to suggest steps that, in the correct sequence, should turn you into an accomplished parachutist
Requirement
This camp is open to parachutists with a valid certification. You may register for this course as an individual parachutist or as a team.
Inhalt
Theoretical section:
Safety rules, positions, recovery
Practical section:
Belly and back flying skills. Tracking on the belly (level, angle, turns, slow-fast)
AE 2
Beschreibung
In Artistic Events 2, you will mainly move in the head-up position. In the camp, the trainer will train and check you on the manoevres and elements and give you further exercises. After this camp you are so to speak certified and can fly stably in a head-up position in accordance with the rating. The camp takes place in the style of a workshop in which each participant can practice and train at their own level. This can be in the form of one-to-one coaching or in a small group. The trainer will determine the appropriate grouping.
Requirement
This camp is open to parachutists with a valid certification. You may register for this course as an individual parachutist or as a team. You should be familiar with and able to apply the content of Artistic Events 1.
Inhalt
Theoretical section:
Safety rules, head-up position, tracking techniques.
Practical section:
Head-up positions (level, approach, grip technique) Tracking on the belly and in the back position (level, angle turns, slow-fast)
AE 3
Beschreibung
Artistic Events 3 is primarily about the head-down position and the transitions. The course builds on a stable and safe head-up position as conveyed in Artistic Events 2. According to the level, work will be carried on the head-down position on the transitions or on the manoeuvres out of the head-down position. The trainer will give you valuable inputs directly during the course and advise you on subsequent jumps or tunnel training. Two days are not enough to learn and be able to fly a head-down position to perfection, however you will become familiar with the most important basic principles and techniques. The follow-up is essential and can take place in further SES courses with your trainer in the air or in the tunnel.
Requirement
This camp is open to parachutists with a valid certification. You may register for this course as an individual parachutist or as a team. You should be familiar with and able to apply the content of Artistic Events 2.
Inhalt
Theoretical section:
Safety rules, head-down positions and techniques as well as transitions and separation.
Practical section:
Head-down position (transition, level, approach, grip techniques), tracking (dynamic flying 3D)

Canopy Piloting
CP 1
Beschreibung
Modern canopies are high-performance devices and miniature technical marvels. If the size and type of canopy are matched to the parachutist, a great deal of fun can be enjoyed very safely. As a general rule, the time of training to obtain a parachute licence is not yet the right time to to swap to an advanced canopy and thereby train the handling. This generally comes later, when you are past the beginner stage or a buying a new canopy. Use the important course to your best advantage. You will jump more confidently and improve your technique. Naturally you will also take a great deal of canopy knowhow away with you. More deatialed information can be found under course contents.
Requirement
This camp is open to all parachutists with a valid licence. You may of course register for this course as an individual parachutist.
